• Dark Elixir for upgrading your Heroes all the time.
• Elixir for upgrading expensive high level troops, spells, Army Camps and Dark Elixir Drills.

If you don’t know, you will need totally 151,148,550 Elixir and 4,752,500 Dark Elixir for upgrading all things at Town Hall 9. They are not small numbers, I am sure…
Once you have upgraded almost building with Elixir, you should focus on both Gold and Dark Elixir at a time. The higher level of Heroes you have, the more loot you can raid. If you just focus on Gold, your Heroes will be weak. If you just focus on Dark Elixir, your storage will always be full, you will need to spend gems to speed up the Heroes upgrading progress and your Defense Buildings will not strong enough to protect the village. For Farming, Barch and B.A.M are still the best farming strategies because they are very cheap, effective and just need a small amount of time for training. When you are at late Town Hall 9, when Elixir is not important with you anymore, you can use Balloonion for farming Dark Elixir and Gold.

Fill up all of your Barracks with just Goblins. You can train some Wall Breakers If you want but that will slow down the training progress. In this strategy, we will use Goblins for taking out just Collectors and the Queen for sniping Storages/Collectors nearby. 5 Goblins level 5 can take down Gold Mine/Elixir Collector within 3 seconds.
Poison Spells are for dealing with the defensive Clan troops and sometimes you can find inactive bases will 600k collector loot inside the base, that’s why you need Jump Spells. You don’t don’t need any other Spells. By having the Archer Queen, your income can be increased a lot.

Hello guys, Today I’d love to show you a brand new TH8 Base which was designed by CoC Black Hat. It’s such a long time since the last TH8 War Base I posted a few months ago. I hope you guys will like this base!

How this TH8 Base Works

Anti-Dragon and Anti-Dragloon
Since the update with 1 Spell slot in Clan Castle, most Town Hall 8 players have been using my ZapQuake strategy (using 2 Lightning Spells + 1 Earthquake Spell to destroy Air Defenses). The remaining troops will be either Dragons or Dragons + Balloons coming with Rage Spell. I am going to show you how this base works against this strategy. I very like this feature since most Town Hall 8 players using ZapQuake strategy in Clan Wars now.

• All Air Defenses are protected by high HP buildings (Storages and Town Hall).
• Well placed Air Defenses.
• Well placed Air Bombs and Seeking Air Mines.

But the point is where attacker stars raiding, right? Most experienced attackers would start raiding from either left/right or behind of the Air Sweeper. The best choice for attackers is to ZapQuake the rightmost Air Defnese then start the raid from the top-left side of this TH8 Base, where 2 Seeking Air Mines are strategically placed to immediately weaken 2 Dragons. 2 Gold Storages and 1 Dark Elixir Storage which are protecting ADs inside give them a lot of time to deal with Dragons.
Air Bombs and Skeleton Traps are utilized to deal with Balloons. Attackers have to send their Balloons through this arena If they want to get the ADs.
Anti-Hogs and Anti-GoHo
Hogs and GoHo are definitely the most overpowered attack strategies at Town Hall 8 and here are 2 main features of this base which help you effectively defend against them:

• Extremely hard to trigger Double Giant Bomb.
• Well placed Spring Traps.

Additionally, the Barbarian King is placed in the core as he effectively covers the Double Giant Bomb location. If somehow Hog Riders can trigger only 1 Giant Bomb, Barbarian King still can 1 hit Hog.
Anti-GoWiPe
Last but not least, GoWiPe is still one of the most popular strategies at Town Hall 8. Here are some features of this base which help it successfully defends against GoWiPe attacks:

• This base has a lot of compartments with different sizes.
• Well placed single point defenses which help you deal with GoWiPe easier.
• Teslas are separated into different compartments.
• Teslas are placed by high HP buildings.

We see the King and use him for farming/raiding in Clan War everyday but have you ever thought about the best time to use his ability, the Iron Fist? Let’s discuss about this special topic today. I’m pretty sure that you are very interesting in this topic!

Sometimes we all get distracted because dozens of things are going on in the raid and forgot our Heroes but in general I see a lot of players just use the Ability when he is nearly dead, and of course that is a big waste.

By activating the Iron Fist ability, your Barbarian King can recover 899HP, summon 12 Barbarians and boost 195 damage and 21 movement speed for not only himself but also all Barbarians nearby, within 10 seconds. Undoubtedly the power of his ability is really large but how to exploit this advantage fully?
As I mentioned above, lots of players just active his Iron Fist ability when his HP bar turns to red and he just can lasts for 4-5 more seconds. That was completely wasted because the ability duration is up to 10 seconds.

Basically when your King has lost one-third of his HP, that’s the best time to use the ability and take the advantage of the bonus power as much as possible.


The screenshot above represents for a great example. As we can see, once the Golem got exploded, all those point defenses including the defensive Archer Queen started attacking the Barbarian King, he could be killed quickly. The attacker just activated the ability when the Barbarian King was nearly dead. He just could live for 4 more seconds. If the attacker had used the ability a bit sooner, the King could have attacked a few more hits. He just wasted 6 seconds in the raged form.
